We offer summer ministry opportunities for young people, as well as college scholarships. Camp Manitoumi is the place for you to have fun this summer and learn the right way to live.

What is Summer Ministry?

Ministry has been defined as “carrying forth Christ’s mission in the world” by the Encyclopedia of Christianity, and that is what we intend to do. Not only will this summer ministry allow you to impact the lives of young people by being their counselor, but our counselors will mature through their faith as well. At Camp Manitoumi, we want to evangelize the lost, promote Christian maturity, and help our campers experience the joy of camping and nature.

A Different Kind of Summer Experience

There are many places to find a meaningful ministry experience, but not many where you are engaged spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially.

• Spiritually: We offer Christ-centered activities and Bible studies to our campers and counselors. A ministry at our camp means that you will spend your summer learning more about and growing with your faith, with other peers and in the beautiful outdoors.
• Mentally: A summer ministry is a great place for young people to learn new skills, or develop their weaker skills. Do you want to become a better leader? Do you want to develop better people skills? Become a counselor and you will be given ample opportunities to do just that! We are here to help you grow.
• Physically: A summer ministry at Camp Manitoumi is a summer ministry at a camp, after all. Could you imagine a more fun place for a significant summer? Our camp is surrounded by nature, where the beauty of our Lord is visible everywhere you look. Also, for outdoor activities, we have sports fields, hiking trails, paintball, miniature golf, and more!
• Socially: Summer can be a lonely time for young people, without the regular socialization that school provides. Here counselors will help these children interact with each other and learn responsibilities in a group setting. Fun, educational, and these children will be given the chance to socialize this summer!
